Distressed by and Delivered from Sin

Psalm 6

God’s Anointed King is distressed, body and soul, by God’s wrath
against sin:

1. A desperate prayer for God’s grace. (Psalm 6:1-3)

2. A desperate appeal to God’s covenant mercy. (Psalm 6:4-5)

3. A desperate testimony of deep distress. (Psalm 6:6-7)

4. A definite confidence in God’s defeat of His enemies. (Psalm
6:8-10)
