That Old-Time Religion of Justification by Faith Alone

1. The LORD justifies Abraham by faith alone in the promise of Christ
   alone – and He justifies us in exactly the same way.

2. Because He keeps His covenant promises to those who
   believe. (Genesis 15:1-4)

   a. Do you believe that God is your shield and your exceedingly great
      reward?

3. Because He begets countless spiritual children through His
   Gospel. (Genesis 15:5)

   a. Do you have an optimistic view of our Gospel mission?

4. Because He justifies only the ungodly (Genesis 15:6; Romans 4:1-8)

   a. Do you know the blessed reality of being a justified sinner?
