The Voice Crying Out in the Wilderness

John 1:19-28

John the Baptizer sets the stage for Jesus the Messiah and to bear true witness: 

1. He is not the Messiah (John 1:19-20)

2. He is not Elijah or the Prophet (John 1:21)

3. He is the voice of repentance to prepare for His redemption (John 1:22-23)

4. He is the witness to His supremacy (John 1:24-28)
