Gospel Remedies for Distressed Saints

Psalm 4

Be assured, God your righteousness will hear your prayer of distress.

1. He justifies you and you are set apart for Him – despite the lying
mockery of men. (Psalm 4:1-3)

2. He quells your anger when you trust in Him. (Psalm 4:4-5)

3. He gives you a greater joy than earthly blessings – despite the
cynicism of skeptics. (Psalm 4:6-7)

4. He gives you peaceful sleep because you are safe in Christ. (Psalm
4:8)
