The Stranger on the Emmaus Road

Luke 24:13-35

The risen Jesus opens up the Christ-centered Scriptures on the Emmaus
Road to a couple of despairing disciples. They are:

1. Blind to the crucified and risen Christ – and the events of Good
Friday & Easter morning. (Luke 24:13-24)

2. Instructed by the crucified and risen Christ – from all of
Scripture. (Luke 24:25-27)

3. Enlightened to see to the crucified and risen Christ – in the
breaking of bread. (Luke 24:28-35)
